How to structure your pages for AI
To get AI to quote your pages, you need to break your information into small, clear "blocks." Here is the simple blueprint:
1. The Top (The Snippet)
AI models look at the first 100 words of your page to find a quick answer.
The H1: Use a clear, descriptive title (e.g., “What is IDD Therapy?”).
The Summary: Place a 2–3 sentence "Key Takeaways" box immediately under the H1.
Why: AI models love "front-loaded" answers. This makes it easy for them to "clip" your content for an AI Overview.
2. The Middle (Structured Depth)
H2s as Questions: Use subheadings that mimic natural speech (e.g., "What conditions can IDD spinal decompression treat?").
The "Standalone" Paragraph: The first sentence after every H2 should be a complete answer.
The Rule: Avoid starting sentences with pronouns like "This," "It," or "As I said above."
The Better Way: Always use the actual name of the topic (e.g., "The IDD Therapy process takes 25 minutes"). If an AI "clips" that one paragraph to show a user, it must make sense on its own.
Tables & Bullets: Use these for technical specs and comparisons. AI handles structured data much better than long sentences.
3. The Bottom (The Trust Layer)
Add an FAQ: Put a "Frequently Asked Questions" section at the bottom. These perfect "Question & Answer" pairs are exactly what AI looks for.
Author Bio & Sources: Cite your clinical sources and include your credentials. Google and AI prioritize E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).
